- Requirements:
- You must not be a member of an Organization or a Motorcycle Club.
- You must not be in Passive Mode.
- You cannot start Odd Jobs while you have a Wanted level.
- How to Start:
- Visit the Los Santos Meteor newspaper office in Strawberry to start the job.
- If the Los Santos Meteor icon (shown below) is not displayed on the map, check whether Paper Route is hidden in the Map Blip Options. You can enable it via: Interaction Menu → Preferences → Map Blip Options → Odd Jobs → Firefighter Work

If the start prompt or delivery counter does not appear
If you start the job but the start prompt or the delivery counter in the bottom-right corner of the screen does not appear, it is likely because Freemode Work is set to hidden in the Map Blip Options.
You can enable it via:
Interaction Menu → Preferences → Map Blip Options → Rival Gameplay → Freemode Work
Job Details
Visit the Los Santos Meteor in Strawberry to begin Paper Route. Ride a rental Thrust and deliver newspapers to all 10 locations within the time limit.
- You can make deliveries using any Personal Vehicle, but if you use a Personal Vehicle, the Brand Bonus will not apply.
- Instead of receiving the Brand Bonus, you can increase your tips by completing deliveries quickly using the Oppressor MK2. However, when using the Oppressor MK2, you must dismount in order to throw the newspapers.
- If your goal is to earn the Hot Off The Press or Meteoric Awards, it is recommended to run the route using the Oppressor MK2.
- If you become Wanted, the job will immediately end.
There are a total of 10 possible delivery route patterns, selected at random. The light blue marker indicates the Los Santos Meteor starting point, while yellow markers show delivery locations.
About the Time Limit
The initial time limit when starting Paper Route is 5 minutes. Each completed delivery adds 1 minute. Since the 10th delivery is the final one, no additional minute is added. Therefore, all deliveries must be completed within a total of 14 minutes. Completing each delivery in an average of 1 minute and 24 seconds will allow all 10 deliveries to be completed. If the timer reaches zero, the job will end even if deliveries are still in progress.

- $1,250 for each completed delivery.
- If all 10 deliveries are completed, you receive a tip equal to remaining minutes × $1,000. ※1
- If all 10 deliveries are completed by throwing newspapers while riding the bike, you receive a Brand Bonus of $5,000. ※2
- Completing all 10 deliveries for the first time unlocks the trade price for the Thrust. ※3
- Delivering a total of 50 newspapers awards a bonus cash reward of $50,000.
