How to Use the Fingerprint Scanner Practice Tool
● “START” button
Click to start the practice.
● “EXIT” button
Click to end the practice session.
● “COMPONENTS” area
Just like the fingerprint scanner in the actual Diamond Casino Heist, 8 fingerprint parts are shown. From these 8, select the correct 4 parts. You can select up to 4 parts at once. If you have already selected 4 parts and want to change one, first deselect one of your current choices, then select a different part.
● “CHECK” button
After you have selected the 4 parts you believe are correct in the “COMPONENTS” area, press the CHECK button to judge your answer.
● “STATUS” area
The message shown here changes depending on how long it took you to find the correct 4 parts. If you can consistently clear the puzzle with a result of “OK” or better, you are already faster than the average player. In the real heist, you can be confident and volunteer to handle the fingerprint scanner.
- Within 2.8 seconds: GOD LEVEL! (gold)
- Within 3.0 seconds: INSANELY FAST! (light blue)
- Within 3.5 seconds: FAST (green)
- Within 5.5 seconds: OK (above average) (white)
- Over 5.5 seconds: SLOW (red)
● “TIME” area
Shown only on PC. It displays how long it took you to select the correct 4 parts. The latest 20 attempts and your best time are recorded. The best time in the history list is highlighted with a yellow background. The frame colors for each record correspond to the same color meaning as the STATUS ranks above. If all records in your history are cleared with non-red frames (OK or better), you can consider your training complete.
